In addition to inserting needles in key acupuncture points, veterinarians can enhance the effect of these needles by stimulating the points with small doses of electricity for 15 minutes.
Just like electro-acupuncture, aquapuncture increases the effect of the therapy. This technique consists of injecting small doses of vitamin B12 intramuscularly in key acupuncture points.
